The 35th Annual Boston Jewish Film Festival takes places November 1-12 in theaters, and November 13-15 virtually.
Boston Jewish Film celebrates the richness of the Jewish experience through film and media. Throughout the year, the Festival engages and inspires the community to explore the full spectrum of Jewish life, values and culture.
Boston Jewish Film offers the finest in film programming, education, and conversation to audiences across the Greater Boston community. Created in 1989, as the Boston Jewish Film Festival and founded by filmmaker Michal Goldman, BJFF is now the largest film-based organization in New England, welcoming more than 15,000 annually.

RESISTANCE -- THEY FOUGHT BACK screens on Thursday, November 2 in person at the West Newton Cinema. Documentary. 97 minutes. Directed by WIFVNE Member Paula Apsell and Kirk Wolfinger. Co-produced by WIFVNE Board Member Yael Beals. Followed by a live in-person conversation with Directors Paula Apsell and Kirk Wolfinger, and film subject Michael Berenbaum, moderated by BJF Board President Ken Shulman. Encore presentation in Thursday, November 9 at the Brattle Theater in Cambridge.
