MPC's event The Business of Acting is presented with SAG-AFTRA New England

This event is engaging seminar on the journey of acting jobs, starting from the moment a casting agency receives a script to the actor’s arrival on set.  The discussion incudes the process of how roles are booked, as well as offer practical tips for actors to secure parts, what to prepare when booking, and practical considerations to excel in their job experiences.

The event will offer insights from the perspectives of a casting director, talent agent, and SAG-AFTRA representative with a 'behind the scenes' look into their roles to understand how each collaborates with a production to help bring the best talent to the screen for the story.  This seminar will also be useful for filmmakers and media producers looking for insights into the business of booking talent for their next project!
