Join us for a dynamic conversation with award-winning filmmaker and producer Sara Elizabeth Timmins, founder of Life Out Loud Films and NO FILM SCHOOL. NO TRUST FUND. NO PROBLEM. In this introductory workshop, Sara Elizabeth will offer a broad overview of the critical topics independent filmmakers need to know—including fundraising, pitching, distribution, and building sustainable careers without traditional gatekeepers.

This session gives a high level view of topics that will be covered more deeply in upcoming workshops. Bring your questions, your aspirations, and your notebooks—this is a conversation you won’t want to miss.
