Join us for a fun and collaborative evening of food, creativity, and connection!
This interactive event invites writers, actors, and directors to come together and bring scenes to life in a supportive setting.
Writers can submit a 3–5 page WIFVNE-appropriate scene in advance to tablereads@wifvne.org. From these submissions, five scenes will be selected to be performed that evening.
Actors will be cast on the spot from those in attendance, and directors can volunteer to help shape the readings. Each scene will include a brief rehearsal followed by a group presentation and feedback session.
Not a writer, actor, or director? No problem—just come to watch, mingle, and enjoy the creative energy!
This event is free for WIFVNE members and $10 for non-members. Address and directions will be provided in your registration confirmation email.
Your host for the evening is WIFVNE member Becki Dennis, a multi-talented actor, writer, director, and producer. Becki has appeared in over thirty TV shows, as well as numerous films, commercials, and industrials. She is also an acting coach and teaches actor marketing at Boston Casting’s School of Screen Acting. Becki brings her industry experience and love of community-building to this event.
